Hi Fellow Classmates,
It’s hard to believe it has been 40 years. I don’t feel old – until I look in the mirror and see my mother. As I look back and remember our high school days, I feel so lucky to have grown up in the 60’s. I think most of us had a lot of fun during our high school years. We had some great teachers and facility back then. Some of my fondest memories are things like driving my 1930 Model A full of girls -sometimes as many as 12- to the football games, going on the “9th Street West” dance show in Hollywood with many classmates, listening to LP’s with the girls of some of our favorite music, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, The Stones, Sonny and Cher, Diana Ross and The Supremes and the fun Motown music. I have fond memories of stopping at “Russell’s Hamburger Stand” on the way home from school to meet up with friends and enjoy some chili fries together. I think many of you had as much fun as I did in the 60's.
I have been married to the same great guy for the past 38 years. We have lived in Huntington Beach since the early 70’s. We have had a great life together. We have a daughter and son and one darling grandson who all live in Huntington Beach.
It’s going to be great to see friends I haven’t seen in 30-40 years. Dennis Webb has done an incredible job with the website. I can’t even imagine the hours it must have taken to put that together and keep it updated – thanks, Dennis.
Be sure to contact any friends you still have contact with and tell them to login and sign the guestbook – even if they can’t attend the Reunion we’d love to have them email to say “hi”.
